Educational Workshops/ Presentations and Training
With a decade of experience facilitating performing arts programs inside the carceral system and justice-impacted spaces (and beyond), our approach to education and community engagement is grounded in compassion and resilience. We bring the profound lessons learned from that work; listening deeply, honoring lived experience, and creating spaces for authentic expression into schools, conferences, professional settings and community organizations and gatherings.
Our offerings include classes in generating theatre through the study of storytelling, character, improvisation, collaboration, and original play development, that encourage self-awareness through a creative lens as well as facilitator training for working in trauma-impacted spaces through creative engagement.
Designed for educators, social service providers, youth programs, schools, and community groups, our workshops and trainings use a theatre-based approach that blends embodied practice with practical strategies for utilizing the creative act in service of building emotional and somatic resilience, collective growth and collective understanding.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your classroom or organizational culture or cultivate wellness in your approach to group-work, our presentations, workshops or trainings offer a unique insight into the bridge between artistic/somatic expression and healing.
