2024 NorCAN Conference: Thriving Together

Program Director, Janessa Johnsrude, presented alongside Tim Cunningham, former health system vice president, humanitarian clown, and nurse, at the 2024 NorCAN conference this November in a panel titled “Creative Pathways: The Arts and Community Wellness” on the the role arts play in reimagining, reinventing, and driving powerful change. Janessa and Tim shared inspiring stories of how the arts are driving transformative change locally and globally, encouraging participants to integrate creative practices into their work.

The Thriving Together conference brought together over 150 attendees and volunteers from across the nonprofit sector for a day focused on wellness, connection, and collaboration. After a seven-year gap since the last nonprofit gathering, this event was a powerful reminder of how essential it is to come together, share ideas, and envision a sustainable future for our community.
