A New Term at HCCF

Thanks to your support and the support of our participants at Pelican Bay State Prison, we are returning for our second term at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility, beginning February 11. We worked in partnership with contributing artists from our Pelican Bay Program, to host a listening event with radio plays they created at Dell’Arte. The event served as a fundraiser, attended by community members, to help continue our programming at the jail.

We will once again work with the women’s dorm to provide weekly programming throughout the spring semester. Participants will be welcomed into our circle to engage with one another in a collaborative creative space, with time to process through somatic exercises, develop original characters and scenes, and work together to bring stories to life through movement and performance. Through this work, we aim to create a supportive environment where participants can explore their voices, experiences, and invest in personal growth.
